Hello!

Thanks to all of our friends and customers for making 2009 another great year at Greenward!  Despite tough economic times, we have been growing steadily and adding new products all the time.  We have been in our new location for almost a year now, and we have really enjoyed its increased visibility, floor space, and storage.  We appreciate your continued patronage during our current construction project.  We don't know exactly when it will be completed, but when it is we are sure to be sporting a spruced up exterior.

We have several new products on the way for 2010, so you will want to watch this space over the next couple months.  Here's a few that we've already got on the shelves...
Greensmart Lunch Totes

Greensmart has expanded their Neogreene line from the previously introduced laptop sleeves and water bottle covers to include a selection of lunch totes.  Neogreene is an earth-friendlier alternative to neoprene. It has twice the insulating value of neoprene and is free of phthalates, VOCs, chlorine, or metals used in the manufacture of neoprene. Neogreene also consumes 25% less energy and 25% less petroleum to manufacture than neoprene. Neogreene is constructed with water-based adhesives, not a possibility with neoprene (neoprene's characteristic smell is the VOCs from the adhesives). Neogreene is fully waterproof, durable, and lightweight (50% lighter than neoprene by volume).

The names for Greensmart's lunch totes are taken from endangered animals, including the Sifaka, Margay, and Javan rhinoceros. Greensmart donates 10% of profits to the World Wildlife Fund and other organizations helping to create a greener planet.
Sifaka lunch bag
The Sifaka ($29.99) has two separate compartments to keep food cold (or warm) for hours. It easily holds reusable containers and is easy to carry with the long drop handles.
Margay lunch tote
The Margay ($25.99) is the old school traditionalist lunch box. A split exterior pocket provides room for a cell phone, wallet or keys. You will be able to fit even the largest of lunches in the spacious main compartment.
Javan lunch tote
The Javan ($34.99) has an interior beverage sleeve and two exterior pockets. The full zip-around makes access easy while the padded handles make for comfortable carrying.

Resource Revival Bike Chain Luggage Tags and Bowl

 Luggage Tags
With airport security what it is these days, you want a seriously tough luggage tag. This one from Resource Revival fits the bill. It's made from recycled bike chain with an anodized aluminum center. There is a paper tag to write your info on and a braided steel cable to attach it to your luggage. Just try to break this one off, TSA! $9.49 each.
Bike Chain Bowl
This bowl is made entirely from coiled recycled bike chain. It's welded together and heavy-duty enough to hold spare rivets in your workshop, but also cool enough to use as a centerpiece, candy dish, or container for your keys inside your home. $79.99.

Clementine Art is a new company focused on non-toxic, high-quality art supplies for kids made in the USA with safe, natural ingredients.  You will feel so much better wiping this stuff off the walls of your home, scrubbing it out of that new dress, and washing it out of your hair.

Presently, we have Soy Crayons ($5.49 for a pack of 6), Soy Crayon Rocks ($5.49 for a pack of 8), Natural Glue ($5.49, 2 oz bottle), and Modeling Dough ($8.99 for a pack of 3).  Soon, we should also have markers and paints!

Plastic Bag Dryers

Plastic bag dryer

We had many requests for this item and we have finally procured some for those of you buried in soggy plastic bags.  The plastic bag dryers are all wood construction and made in Canada.  Push the sliding collar down the dowels to expand the dryer for use, pull it up the dowels for compact storage. It has eight dowels and can be used with the base on a countertop, or hung from the included eyelet. $19.99.
