Hello!
Welcome to the second edition of the monthly Greenward newsletter!
The response to the store has been great! To thank all
of you for being so supportive, and to celebrate our success so far, we
are throwing a store-warming party on Wednesday, May 30 from 6:00 to 9:00PM. Join us for snacks, organic beer generously provided by Peak Organic Brewing Co., and 10% off all purchases during the shindig.
May comes with two big events in store for us: Mother's Day on May
13 and National Bike Month--because biking is the best way to travel
year-round, but it's especially enjoyable in the springtime.
We've got some great things in stock for both moms and
bicyclists. Bicycling moms are in for a real treat!

Spotlight on...tranSglass
 
These
striking vases would make a great match with some Mother's Day flowers
from Organic Bouquet (even better - Danny Seo shows you how to make
scented paper flowers from magazine perfume ads in Simply Green Parties. Page through it next time you're in.).
Designed
by Tord Boontje and Emma Woofenden, tranSglass is part of the permanent
collection of the Museum of Modern Art. The pieces are produced
from recycled wine, champagne, and beer bottles by La Casa Cotzal, a
Guatemalen artisan group.

Spotight on...Two Piglets
Two Piglets makes the cutest cards around, and we have some great ones for Mother's Day and for just about any other occasion.
Their letterpress cards are printed on 30% post-consumer recycled bristol board with soy inks.

Abandoning
your car for a bike is one of the best ways to reduce your impact on
the environment, increase the quality of life in your neighborhood, and
improve your health. Greenward has by far the hippest bicycling
accessories in town.
